Screenplay This Disaster

1:38am and its cold outside.

Only two more class days left until retirement. I’m so done. I don’t have to pass on jobs anymore cause my mondays and wednesdays are unavailable. This is going to be awesome.     

I’ve been in this three day long editing session going between three different projects. My friend has been passed out on the couch in my office since 6am. I started my day around noon and I’ve been going about my daily activities. Sometimes I look over and swear that he looks dead sometimes cause it doesn’t seem like he’s breathing. Actually now that I think of it, this happens all the time. I’m living with a dead person. 

Its funny cause I don’t really do drugs.

Why the hell did there have to be absinthe last night? 

I just woke up and wondered what day it was. 

One AM. There’s pretty much only two things I talk about on this blog… That’s work, and then catching up on life when I’m not working. My first day off since last week and I spent it catching up on all the latest episodes of all the shows I watch. 

So I worked on a discovery channel pilot the other day, it was about a week long shoot and the night before the last day I ended up going to the bar for karaoke knowing full well that I had to be back on set the next morning at 7:45. I’m not sure but I think I ended up going to sleep around 4. Needless to say when my alarm clock went off at 6:30, I was still pretty drunk. With no sleep and bordering the fuzzy line between drunk and hungover, I tried to balance myself out with a slew of energy drinks. The coolers up at crafty were stocked to the brim with redbulls. It was safe to say that feeling like hammered shit the day after was an understatement. 

So I’m taking another little break. I have a music video being released the 12th and I have to schedule a few pickups for that corporate I produced. Other than that, hopefully I’ll be sleeping. I’m pretty sure I just jinxed that. 

its 8:40 in the morning… I’m sitting in the production office with nothing to do. I’m considering taking a nap. 

Tomorrow I’m working on a new show with the two guys from Mythbusters/Discovery channel. The fun part is that I’m working with a bunch of my friends and there will most likely be more episodes in the next few months. This can go either way, either our shenanigans will get us fired, or our personalities will get us our very own reality tv deal haha.

Oh yeah. that xbox commercial I worked on was cool, but that LA production team… not cool. Its like theres two types of LA production teams that come up here. One is the super chill, really fun crew that are efficient and understanding and actually listen to bay area production advice when coming up here… then theres that LA crew that just come up here to crap out the project and use the rest of the time on a paid vacation in the city.
